Delicious asian fusion food, lovely staff!

We were warmly welcomed at the bar by a lovely member of staff - very attentive, bringing us water and menus. Beautifully cooked Asian fusion food, with flavours that took us right back to Thailand and Vietnam. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but the ambience lifted with the arrival of additional diners. Our server, did a great job of serving all the tables while engaging in a friendly chat with customers. She was an enthusiast about the freshness and quality of the food - all home-cooked! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, right in the heart of the city. Our only suggestion is - a wee bit of chocolate with tea/coffee is always welcome at the end of a meal! We will be returning customers - and hope Mamasan goes from strength to strength.

Mamasan is definitely a new favourite!

Was worried that the fixed menu may be a tad limited. But happily surprised with the options. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is absolutely stunning on the eyes and divine on the tastebuds. Beautiful restaurant and the staff were lovely & helpful throughout. We will definitely be returning!

South East Asia in Glasgow City Centre

Mamasan Bar & Brasserie has brought South East Asian-inspired dining and drinks to Glasgow City Centre. Their premium dining concept offers modern South East Asian cuisine, elevated with local British produce from farm, field and sea. With its winning combination of chic, colourful interiors and tempting menus, it’s no surprise this stylish haunt has been a seriously-popular Glasgow hotspot since opening in 2020.

Wide-ranging menu with expertly crafted elements

From curry pastes, to hand-crafted coconut cream, the core elements of Mamasan’s dishes are created in-house and made from scratch.

Their impressive la carte menu showcases dishes such as Wagyu fillet carpaccio, Hebridean seared scallops and Thai fried chicken to start, with mouth-watering mains including their shrimp and soft-shell crab burger, Massaman curry of smoked short rib and even a whole lobster fondue!

An eclectic drinks menu features fabulous cocktails such as a Watermelon Pop made with pineapple-infused gin, and classics with a twist such as a Coconut or Smoked Almond Old Fashioned, and a Blood Orange Negroni.

City Centre Location

Mamasan is located on Ingram Street, just off the twinkly Royal Exchange Square, meaning it’s a short walk from both Queen Street and Glasgow Central rail stations. Bus stops, the Subway and taxi ranks are also close by making it a convenient location for catch-ups with friends from across the city.
